FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has signed former UCF center Caden Kitler to help on the offensive line.
Kitler, 6-3, 295, was one of the best centers in the transfer portal. He chose the Hogs over Florida State, SMU, Michigan and Mississippi State. He was at Arkansas earlier this week on an official visit.
“They run a lot of pin and pull stuff,” Kitler said. “They actually highlight the center’s athletic ability so I think I would be really good in that role. At UCF we run a lot of inside zone so just highlighting what I can do and juts kind of cutting loose on it.”
He also talked about what else stood out about the Hogs.
“It’s like that good mix of city and country,” Kitler said. “So I really like that I like how it’s quiet, but it can also get loud at times. There’s nothing else in Arkansas than other the Hogs so just that fan base and the games are always going to be loud so that’s pretty cool to me.”
Kitler is the eighth signee with the Hogs and third on the offensive line.
