RB Rodney Hill pledges to Hogs

FAYETTEVILLE — Former Florida State running back Rodney Hill has committed to Arkansas.

Hill, 5-10, 190, spent the past semester at Florida A&M after playing for Florida State in 2022-23. Hill is on an official visit to Arkansas today with his mother.

Hill didn’t participate in spring drills at FAMU. He attended Statesboro (Ga.) Bulloch Academy before enrolling at Florida State.

In 2023, Hill rushed 50 times for 190 yards and one touchdown. He caught five passes for 83 yards. In 2022, Hill rushed 27 times for 144 yards and a touchdown.

Sophomore running Isaiah Augustave entered the transfer portal following Saturday’s spring game. Hill will join a running back group that includes Ja’Quinden Jackson, Braylen Russell,, Rashod Dubinion and Dominique Johnson.

Arkansas now has seven scholarships remaining for the Class of 2024. Hill has two years of eligibility remaining.
