RB Tyrell Reed enters transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE — Sophomore running back Tyrell Reed Jr. has elected to enter the transfer portal.

Reed played just one season at Arkansas after transferring in from Hutchinson (Kan.) Community College. Reed carried six times for 36 yards and one touchdown. In the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Reed caught a 47-yard touchdown pass from Taylen Green to help the Razorbacks defeat Texas Tech.

The Razorbacks still have a deep running back room. Braylen Russell, Mike Washington Jr., Rodney Hill and Cam Settles provide a solid group. JuJu Pope, another running back, entered the portal this week as well.
