FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Arkansasrazorbacks.com) – Joscelyn Roberson’s collegiate gymnastics resume continues to get more and more impressive as she was tabbed a WCGA Second Team Regular Season All-American on beam on Monday.

Regular Season All-Americans are determined by athletes who finish in the top 15 by NQS in respective events heading into regional competition. Roberson currently holds an NQS of 9.915 on balance beam, which is tied for 15th in the country, ninth in the SEC, and tied for second among freshmen nationally.

Roberson is Arkansas’ first-ever freshman to be named a Regular Season All-American and the first on beam since Kennedy Hambrick in 2021.

In all 11 meets of her rookie campaign Roberson has served as the team’s beam anchor and has been a steady presence from day one. She has scored 9.900 or better in eight appearances and is currently on a three-meet 9.900+ streak on the event dating back to the team’s meet against Alabama on Feb. 28.

Joscelyn has found herself on top of the beam podium four times and has placed within the top three in eight of 11 meets so far. Her 9.915 NQS on the event is the best by Gymback heading into regionals since Amanda Elswick in 2022, and the best by any Arkansas freshman beam worker ever at this point in the season.

Roberson and the No. 16 Razorbacks continue their season this weekend at NCAA Regionals. Arkansas will participate in Semifinal II of the Penn State regional on Thursday, April 3 at 6 p.m. CT against No. 1 LSU, No. 17 Michigan and either Maryland or West Virginia.

The top two teams from this session and top two from the first (No. 8 Michigan State, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 25 Ohio State, No. 28 Penn State) will advance to Saturday’s regional final, slated for 4 p.m. CT from University Park. The best two left standing will punch a ticket to NCAA Championships in Fort Worth April 17-19.

All sessions of regional competition will be streamed live on ESPN+.
