FAYETTEVILLE — Mobile (Ala.) Williamson Class of 2025 three-star safety Taijh Overton has committed to Arkansas.
Overton, 6-2, 180, had a very good junior season. He collected 116 tackles, nine for loss, two sacks, 19 pass breakups, three interceptions, forced a fumble and recovered one.
Overton made the pledge on Thursday. He took an unofficial visit to Arkansas on March 9. He will return June 21-23 for an official visit.
“When my family and I went up there, they made me feel at home,” Overton said. “I have a really good connection and relationships with the coaches. While up there, I fell in love with their whole program overall from the educational aspect to their football program, I really loved it.”
Williamson chose Arkansas over offers from Ole Miss, Memphis, Missouri, UCF, Florida State, Liberty, Marshall and several others.
