FAYETTEVILLE, AR (Pig Trail Nation)- Coming off their collegiate record performance in the 4x400M relay at the Outdoor National Championships, the team stopped by the Pig Trail Nation studio to talk about their performance, how they push each other in practice, and looking ahead to their respective Olympic Trials.

Amber Anning, Rosey Effiong and Kaylyn Brown sat down with our Alyssa Orange on Wednesday.

Arkansas Women’s Track and Field wins 2024 Outdoor National Championship

Anning, Effiong, Brown and fourth member Nickisha Pryce finished 1-2-3-4 in the 400M race as well. Calling it a “super sweep,” it’s something never done in collegiate track and field.

“I feel like we knew we could do the one, two, three, four. So I think it was a question of, who’s it going to be?,” said Anning, “But I feel like we told ourselves to go out there, and execute our race, and just focus on ourselves. So when we crossed the line and saw all of us there, I mean, just seeing how the crowd reacted, I was like, ‘wow, we really just made history.'”
