FAYETTEVILLE — South Florida wide receiver Khafre Brown has committed to Arkansas.

Brown, 6-0, 195, had committed to Charlotte, but got the invite from Arkansas to visit and chose the Hogs.

“It’s a great program,” Brown said. “I like the offense here. It’s a good family environment here. A lot of football lovers around here. It’s a great environment for the SEC.”

Ronnie Fouch is the lead recruiter. How did he convince you to visit?

“I was gonna visit once I got the text from him anyway so he didn’t have to convince me too much,” Brown said. “He asked me if I was interested in here and I said for sure.”

At South Florida in 2023, Brown caught 27 passes for 435 yards and five touchdowns. His brother is Washington Commanders wide receiver Dyami Brown. With his brother in the NFL and the recent draft on his mind Brown talked about what playing in the SEC could do for his future.

“You will play the best of the best in the SEC,” Brown said. “I think playing in the SEC would definitely help my draft stock. Having that sheet behind you playing the best teams in the country. I think that would really help.”

Brown has elite speed. He talked about his best times in track.

“10.52,” Brown said. “I ran the 200 in the ninth grade and 21.2. The 10.52 was in ninth grade too.”
