Taliah Scott entering the transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – Arkansas guard Taliah Scott announced she was officially entering the transfer portal.

The freshman posted on X, “After lots of thought and consideration, I have decided to enter my name into the transfer portal. I want to say thank you to the coaches and staff. Also, thank you to the Arkansas fanbase for embracing me and to everyone who has supported me.”

In 20 games played, Scott averaged 22.1 points per game, 3.3 rebounds per game and 1.5 assists per game.

She was a five-time SEC Freshman of the Week this season and named to the SEC All-Freshman team.

She missed part of this season due to injury and was dealing with a “serious family emergency” and out for several games at the end of the season.
