Tight end Kade Bush excited to be a Razorback

FAYETTEVILLE — Morgan Turner wanted a couple of tight ends in the Class of 2026 and he went to a familiar place in Minnesota to land Chanhassen 3-star tight end Kade Bush.
Bush, 6-5, 225, is from the same high school that sent offensive lineman Frank Ragnow to Arkansas. Bush committed to Turner and the Razorbacks on March 27. This past weekend he got to take his official visit.
“It was awesome,” Bush said. “I mean of course every time I’m here it goes better than expected. All the coaches, the players and staff are so welcoming all the time. You just get more comfortable every time you’re here. More locked in with Arkansas.”
Bush has been to Arkansas previously on unofficial visits, but this time he learn anything new about them?
“I’ve already been here twice so I’ve already done all the tours and stuff,” Bush said. “But doing the tours again they kind of went more in-depth with everything like academically and athletically. It becomes a little more real when you listen to it this time around because I’m committed. This is my future so I’m a little locked into meetings and stuff. Yeah, I learned a lot.”
Bush will sign with the Hogs in December and then report the following month as a midterm enrollee. Since the time to be a Razorback is so near has it become a little surreal?
“It becomes a little more real every day,” Bush said. “It’s a little easier for me because my best friend back home is committed to Iowa and he’s going early too as a tackle so I have someone to talk to about it. I talked to (Arkansas freshman tight end) Gavin Garretson this weekend a lot about it. He went early so it’s nice to have that connection. I just feel better and better about it every time when I see these guys up here.”
