Two more Razorbacks enter transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE — A pair of Razorbacks, wide receiver Shamar Easter and running back JuJu Pope, have entered the transfer portal.

Easter, 6-5, 223, and Pope, 6-0, 216, were both former four-star recruits. Easter came from Ashdown as a highly recruited tight end. He shifted to wide receiver prior to the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. Easter caught one pass for 16 yards in the 2024 season opener against UAPB.

Pope was recruited as both a running back and linebacker from South Panola (Miss.) High School.

Pope and Easter leaving bring to five scholarship players entering the transfer portal since spring drills ended. Others are quarterback Madden Iamaleava, offensive lineman Zuri Madison and wide receiver Quentin Murphy.
