WATCH: Arkansas Pitching Coach Matt Hobbs talks Gage Wood’s no-hitter

Omaha, NE (KNWA/KFTA) – Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs met with the media following Gage Wood’s no-hitter in Arkansas’ 3-0 victory over Murray State in the Men’s College World Series.

Wood broke the MCWS strikeout record with 19 and threw the Razorback’ first 9-inning no-hitter since Richie Nye in 1996.

It’s just the third no-hitter in MCWS history, and the first since 1960.
