FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – The Arkansas Razorbacks pulled off an impressive comeback to take down Oklahoma State 6-5 in the Fayetteville Regional on Saturday.
The Hogs were down four runs to the Cowgirls heading into the sixth inning, and Atalyia Rijo managed to make it a three run deficit heading into the bottom of the 7th.
Courtney Day got it within one run in the bottom of the 7th, scoring one with an RBI double and Bri Ellis was able to come home on a throwing error by OSU.
It was Ella McDowell who was able to tie it up with an RBI double to send it to extra innings.
In the bottom of the 8th, it was Day once again who sent the Cowgirls packing with a walkoff RBI single up the middle.
