WATCH: Coach Van Horn and players recap 13-8 victory over No. 1 Texas in game three

Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – Coach Van Horn, as well as Charles Davalan, Dylan Carter, and Reese Robinett met with the media following No. 11 Arkansas’ 13-8 win over No. 1 Texas to secure a sweep.

Robinett stole the show homering twice and finishing with six RBI on the day. Davalan added a homer and three RBI as well.

Carter came up big for the Razorbacks out of the bullpen pitching two and two thirds scoreless innings.

Coming into the weekend the Hogs had lost three straight SEC series and Texas had won 10 straight games. The Longhorns had just two SEC losses on the year before the Razorbacks handed them three in one weekend.

It’s the first time a team has swept Texas since 2023 when Oklahoma did it in Big 12 play. Next up for the Razorbacks is a road trip to No. 2 LSU next weekend.
