WATCH: Coach Van Horn and players recap 20-3 victory over Portland in game one

Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – Coach Van Horn, as well as Gabe Gaeckle and Brent Iredale met with the media following No. 3 Arkansas’ 20-3 win in seven innings over Portland in game one.

The Hogs’ offense exploded totaling 13 hits and five home runs. Iredale and Wehiwa Aloy each homered twice in the victory.

Gaeckle settled down after a shaky first inning. The sophomore finished with 5.1 IP, seven strikeouts, and gave up just two earned runs.

The Hogs and Pilots meet tomorrow for game two. Zach Root gets the start for the Hogs. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. and the game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus.
