WATCH: Coach Van Horn and players recap 6-2 win in first game of Fayetteville Regional

Fayetteville, AR (KNWA/KFTA) – Coach Van Horn, Cam Kozeal, and Parker Coil met with the media after Arkansas’ 6-2 victory over North Dakota State to begin Regionals.

The Hogs trailed 1-0 after the top of the first but battled back thanks to Kozeal’s offensive explosion. The second baseman finished 3-4 with four RBI and a home run.

Aiden Jimenez got the start for the Hogs. The Oregon State transfer finished with a line of 3.2 IP, five hits, two earned runs, and three strikeouts.

Parker Coil and Landon Beidelschies pitched a scoreless final five and a third innings.

The Hogs take on the winner of Creighton and Kansas on Saturday at 8 p.m.
