WATCH: Coach Van Horn and players speak to media after sweep over #8 LSU

FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following #1 Arkansas baseball’s sweep over #8 LSU Saturday afternoon, head coach Dave Van Horn, relief pitcher Koty Frank, center fielder Ty Wilmsmeyer, and second baseman Peyton Stovall all spoke to the media.

The Hogs were down by one after Tigers leadoff hitter Tommy White opened the game with a solo home run, but answered in the bottom of the inning thanks to Wehiwa Aloy.

Despite being down 4-1, the Hogs rallied back and took the lead thanks to a infield single by Ty Wilmsmeyer to score Will Edmunson. The game also saw the debut of freshman pitcher Hunter Dietz, who only got two outs before Van Horn turned to Will McEntire to end the game.
