FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Arkansas softball held on to beat No. 10 LSU 12-9 on Thursday night at Bogle Park.

It was a wild game from the start as the Hogs got up 7-0 on the Tigers in the first inning thanks to three multi-run home runs from Bri Ellis, Kailey Wyckoff and Kennedy Miller.

Bri Ellis’ home run in the first inning was her 25th of the season, which tied the program single season home run record.

Game two between the Hogs and Tigers will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday night at Bogle Park.
