WATCH: Courtney Deifel & Reagan Johnson preview start to the softball season

FAYETTEVILLE, AR (Pig Trail Nation)- The 2025 season starts for Arkansas softball on Thursday. The Hogs starting the year on the road at the Texas State Tournament in San Marcos, TX.

“Well, we’ve always done it, so it’s something that we’re used to doing,” says Courtney Deifel, “And so it’s, you know, although today it’s going to be in the seventies, so maybe we could have started at home, but you just never know what the weather is around here.”

Arkansas’ Ellis and Wyckoff named to USA Softball’s Player of the Year watch list

Arkansas starts the season against Thursday against Texas State before facing Lipscomb and Bradley on Friday.
