FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following No. 5 Arkansas baseball’s 4-0 win against Little Rock, head coach Dave Van Horn, freshman pitcher Cole Gibler and junior third baseman Brent Iredale spoke to the media.

The Razorbacks pitching staff was phenomenal in the win shutting out the Trojans. Collin Fisher threw the first two innings but it was freshman Cole Gibler who shined. Gibler had six strikeouts in two innings of work.

The Razorbacks got on the board in the third in part of a Brent Iredale bases loaded walk, and a wild pitch to Gabe Frasier that scored Wehiwa Aloy.

Arkansas’ win against the Trojans is their first back to back shutout wins this season. The Hogs got insurance from a Wehiwa Aloy home run in the seventh and Charles Davalan single in the eighth.

The Razorbacks now head to Gainesville for a date with the Gators starting on Friday.
