WATCH: John Calipari and players recap 75-66 upset win over St. John’s in the NCAA Tournament second round

PROVIDENCE, R.I., (KNWA/KFTA) – Following 10-seed Arkansas men’s basketball’s 75-66 upset win over 2-seed St. John’s head coach John Calipari, freshman guard Billy Richmond, freshman guard Karter Knox, and graduate guard Johnell Davis spoke to the media.

It was a back and forth affair all afternoon between the Hogs and the Red Storm. Arkansas took a 35-32 lead at the half and came out in the second half on an 8-1 run. The Red Storm were able to pull within two with 4:32 remaining, the Hogs got the breathing room they needed to get the win.

Richmond and Knox were terrific for the Razorbacks. The Memphis native led the Hogs with 16 points while Knox added 15 points and six rebounds.

Up next for the Hogs, they’ll head to San Francisco for the Sweet 16 to face the winner of Texas Tech vs. Drake.
