WATCH: Matt Hobbs and players speak to media following series win at Auburn

AUBURN, AL. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following #1 Arkansas baseball’s 6-5 win over #23 Auburn, acting head coach Matt Hobbs, freshman catcher Ryder Helfrick, and graduate pitcher Will McEntire all spoke to the media.

Before the game, it was announced that head coach Dave Van Horn would not be coaching. During the broadcast, it was confirmed that his daughter was in labor giving birth to triplets.

As for the game itself, the Hogs had to come back from a deficit numerous times until Helfrick hit his second home run of the year in the top of the ninth inning to give the Hogs the lead. After pitching two innings yesterday, McEntire came in for the save and was able to close out the game.

The Hogs will go for the sweep tomorrow at 2p.m., on SEC Network plus.
