Women’s golf punches ticket to NCAA Championship

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – No. 2 Arkansas women’s golf has punched their ticket to Nationals after coming in second in the Columbus Regional.

It’s the 13th time in program history that the Razorbacks are heading to Nationals. As a team, they finished three under par, just three shots behind Kansas who won the region, to advance to the NCAA Championship.

Maria Jose Marin and Clarisa Tamelo led the Hogs shooting four under par in round three. Kendall Todd shot even par as well as the team finished seven under par in the final round.

The championship round will be held from May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA.
