FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — One more regular season game separates Arkansas from the postseason, meaning we are starting to get a clearer picture of where the Razorbacks stand in terms of NCAA Tournament seeding.

Since an overtime win over Texas, which bracketology experts said nearly cemented Arkansas a spot in the NCAA Tournament, was canceled out with a blowout loss at South Carolina on March 1.

On Tuesday, the Razorbacks grabbed a road win at Vanderbilt that helped shift them a little further away from the bubble.

With a home game against Mississippi State on Saturday to conclude the regular season, here’s where bracketologists have Arkansas in the NCAA Tournament field:

On3.com projects a March Madness 10-seed for Arkansas in the Midwest region against 7-seed Marquette in Cleveland.

TeamRankings.com also projects Arkansas as an 11-seed.

ESPN‘s Joe Lunardi projects an 11-seed against 11-seed Ohio State in the First Four in Dayton.

CBS Sports projects an 11-seed in the West region against 6-seed Clemson in Denver.

FOX Sports projects Arkansas as an 11-seed.

USA Today projects 11-seed Arkansas in the West region against 6-seed Marquette in Denver.

NCAA.com projects a 12-seed against 12-seed Nebraska in the First Four in Dayton.

ESPN writer Neil Paine gives Arkansas a 49 percent chance of making the NCAA Tournament after its win over the Commodores, a two-percent drop from a week ago.

Paine says when it comes to teams on the bubble, Arkansas “is as borderline as it gets.”

“With some signature wins to its name but plenty of losses to good teams, Arkansas is probably going to present the selection committee with a very tough decision,” Paine writes.

Arkansas will officially learn its NCAA Tournament fate on Selection Sunday on March 16.

The Razorbacks face Mississippi State at 11 a.m. on Saturday in Bud Walton Arena. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
