FAYETTEVILLE – – Former Jacksonville State linebacker Larry Worth has committed to Arkansas.

Worth, 6-4. 220, told Hogville.net why he chose the Hogs.

“Just fits me schematically,” Worth said. “I can make a lot of plays. I can make an immediate impact.”

In 2023, Worth finished with 63 tackles, 28 unassisted, six for loss, four sacks, an interception, two pass breakups, three quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and one recovered. He talked about what he brings to the linebacker room at Arkansas.

“I bring a lot of versatility,” Worth said. “You can throw me in wherever you need a play made on defense. I promise you are going to have a play made.”

Worth joins former Florida State and FAMU running back Rodney Hill, 5-10, 190, in making a verbal pledge to the Hogs. Both visited Friday and Saturday and left today.
