FAYETTEVILLE — Speedy wide receiver Keymian Henderson was one of nine official visitors to Arkansas this weekend.

Henderson, 6-4, 190, is coming off an outstanding junior season where he caught 64 passes for 1,085 yards and 18 touchdowns. He talked about how the visit went for him.

“It went great,” Henderson said. “My first time being out here in Arkansas. It was everything I expected from an SEC school and this is my first visit from an SEC school. I liked everything about it.”

What was the highlight or something that stood out to you?

“I think when they showed the stadium Saturday I really liked that part,” Henderson said. “I could see myself out there scoring touchdowns for Arkansas.”

In last year’s class. Arkansas went to Carthage to sign offensive lineman Kash Courtney. Henderson’s eyes lit up when asked if he got to hang out with Courtney.

“We got to reunite,” Henderson said. “We played high school together for two years. It would be a blessing to just play with Kash again.”

Considering the visit where does the Razorbacks stand for you now?

“They are in my top for sure,” Henderson said. “They are going up, trending up for sure. You know I like Arkansas.”

Henderson talked about the other schools still on his list.

“Kentucky, Mississippi State and then Kansas State,” Henderson said.

Henderson said he didn’t get to connect with Arkansas’ Taylen Green this weekend, but did talk to a couple of quarterbacks.

“No sir I didn’t get to talk to him,” Henderson said. “I just talked to KJ Jackson and Grayson  Wilson.”
