WATCH: Dave Van Horn and players recap 9-0 game one win over No. 1 Texas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) – Following No. 11 Arkansas baseball’s dominant 9-0 win against No. 1 Texas, head coach Dave Van Horn, junior pitcher Zach Root, and sophomore second baseman Cam Kozeal spoke to the media to recap the game.

Arkansas got out to a quick 2-0 lead thanks to Carson Boles’ two run home run in the second inning. From there, it was all Hogs. Cam Kozeal hit a three run home run in the fourth to extend the Arkansas lead to 5-0.

The Razorbacks also got contributions from the entire lineup but it was Zach Roots night to shine. The Hogs ace went eight innings allowing two hits, no runs, and had 11 strikeouts.
